Navaney Foundation/St. Mary’s All Stars Champions Cup Concludes in Grand Style

The exciting football event took place on Sunday, May 17, at the Nathaniel Idowu Stadium in Ajegunle, Lagos, attracting football lovers, supporters, community leaders, and guests from different parts of Nigeria who gathered to witness an unforgettable celebration of talent, sportsmanship, and unity.


The tournament featured a thrilling third-place match between Okoko All Stars and AA Football Club, while the grand finale saw By Fire By Force Football Club lock horns with Mile 2 All Stars in a highly competitive encounter.


As part of its continued commitment to youth empowerment and community development, Navaney Charity Foundation once again invested millions of naira in prize categories aimed at supporting and encouraging young talents across various communities.


Over the years, the foundation has used football as a tool for social impact, helping many young people discover purpose, gain recognition, and access opportunities that have taken them beyond their immediate environment to national and international platforms.


The final match ended in a tense penalty shootout after both teams played out a goalless draw in regulation time. By Fire By Force Football Club eventually emerged champions with a 4–3 victory on penalties to secure the first-place position.


Earlier in the day, Mile 2 All Stars delivered an impressive performance to claim the third-place position with a dominant 5–0 win.


At the end of the tournament, Navaney Charity Foundation presented cash prizes to the winning teams as follows:


1st Position: ₦500,000

2nd Position: ₦300,000

3rd Position: ₦200,000


Players and match officials were also honored with medals in recognition of their dedication and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Awards were equally presented to notable community supporters and contributors whose efforts helped make the tournament a success.
