In the spirit of love, compassion, and community, Navaney Charity Foundation successfully hosted its Easter Free Food Program on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, in Surulere, Lagos. The outreach was part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable families and ensuring that no one is left behind during festive celebrations.
This year’s Easter initiative provided bags of essential food items to over 300 families, helping them celebrate the Easter season with dignity and hope despite the economic challenges currently affecting many households.
The atmosphere at the event was filled with gratitude and excitement as families gathered to receive their food supplies. Volunteers and members of the foundation worked tirelessly to organize the distribution and ensure that the process was orderly, respectful, and impactful.
Speaking about the outreach, representatives of Navaney Charity Foundation emphasized that the program was inspired by the true meaning of Easter — love, sacrifice, and generosity. With the rising cost of living placing increasing pressure on families, the foundation considered it essential to step in and provide relief where possible.
