The Navaney Charity Foundation proudly hosted the kickoff draw for its highly anticipated Annual Female Football Tournament; an event that marked a major milestone in our commitment to empowering grassroots female athletes.
A Dream Come True for Many Female Footballers
The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests including the Chairman of Ajeromi Ifelodun Sports Council, Mr. Michael Omojuya, FEFA representative and Ex-International Super Falcons player, Ann Chinyere Nwoke. Also in attendance was Mr. Lateef Olusanya, former President of St. Mary’s All Stars Football Club.
Representatives from major media houses, including Vanguard and The Sun Newspaper, were present to cover the event and show their support for the development of female football in Nigeria.

Delegates from the 20 participating teams attended the draw and witnessed the placement of their teams. The excitement and energy in the room underscored the unifying power of sport and the growing passion for women’s football in our communities.
This successful event reaffirms Navaney Charity Foundation’s dedication to fostering unity, passion, and progress through sports; particularly by providing platforms for young female footballers at the grassroots level.
